All But One of Our Natural Dog Treats are Gluten Free

We have made the decision at One Lucky Dog Bakery that the majority of our all natural dog treats will be made with gluten free ingredients and brown rice flour. The only exception is our very popular Pumpkin Biscotti pumpkin dog treats, which are made with white flour for those dog owners who have no concerns about gluten in their dog's diet.

We travel to Amish country in Ohio to purchase the brown rice flour we use in our dog treats because we know the Amish use very high quality standards in producing these flours.

Gluten can cause joint pain and skin disorders in dogs. Therefore we decided to eliminate all white and buckwheat flour in all our treats because we feel strongly that our customers' dogs deserve the very best.

Additional benefits of brown rice flour from the Ohio Amish country are the improved appearance, taste and smell they provide for our all natural dog treats. First-hand experience with our five dogs and other dogs we see at shows proves that the dogs love our treats and agree that dogs deserve all natural treats like ours.

Dogs Deserve Good Nutrition Too

The key to good health and a healthy body is directly related to what is put in the body. This applies to both people and dogs. Good nutrition is the basis of a healthy pet and it is essential to feed your pet as healthy a diet as you can.

Many commercial pet treats contain by-products and chemicals that are known to have serious side effects. Dog owners should keep away from artificial additives, preservatives, and by-products.
